In preparation for the upcoming UNFCCC Bonn Climate Change Conference in June 2023 (SB58), the Global Youth Forum on Climate Change will unite young individuals from around the globe, creating an open forum dedicated to discussing international cooperation and the empowerment of youth which stands as one of the elements of ACE (Action for Climate Empowerment) that is being focussed on. The primary objective of this forum is to foster dialogue and gather insights on crucial thematic areas related to youth-led climate action, specifically those that intersect with the workstreams under the UNFCCC. These thematic areas encompass adaptation, loss and damage, capacity-building, climate finance, technology transfer, food systems, and knowledge-sharing. By focusing on these topics, the forum aims to empower youth and facilitate their active participation in addressing the challenges of climate change.
