A dinner dialogue that aims to bring together Party representatives, youth, youth-led organisations and other key stakeholders from across Asia-Pacific region to share case studies, good practices, and frameworks for youth engagement in climate policy and action, including the NDC and NAP process, national climate policies, regional processes, and Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) under the UNFCCC. Other thematic focus areas include the role of youth for addressing climate-induced loss and damage, human mobility, resilience-building, and climate-friendly entrepreneurship.
Objectives
- Foster a collaborative environment by bringing together Party representatives, youth, youth-led organisations, and key stakeholders from the Asia-Pacific region.
- Share case studies, good practices, and frameworks related to youth engagement in climate policy and action. This encompasses the NDC and NAP processes, national climate policies, regional processes, and Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) under the UNFCCC.
- Explore and discuss various thematic areas, including the role of youth in addressing climate-induced loss and damage, human mobility, resilience-building, and climate-friendly entrepreneurship.
